On 19 August 2019, Dr Cunneen was appointed to the Medical Board of Australia Clinical Advice Committee: Health checks for doctors aged 70 years and older.
The Medical Board selected Dr Cunneen based on his area of expertise as an Occupational & Environmental Physician, experience in risk management advice and reputation as a provider in Fitness for Work assessments around Australia.
Dr Cunneen stated that he is honoured by this appointment and is looking forward to assisting the Medical Board of Australia.
